Installation instructions
1. The game requires a constant network connection.
2. Close the Steam client. If not installed, install and close it.
3. Copy the game folder to any non-system location without Cyrillic on the path, Online-Fix is already copied. (It is possible that you will still have to apply it again on top if something like “error – self-protection failed. error code: 2” appears).
4. Launch Steam and log into your account (preferably a backup one).
5. Run OUTRIDERS-Win64-Shipping.exe as administrator.
6. If the error “Failed to initalize steam” occurs, run the file Fix error Steam.url in the distribution folder, a window with the installation of the demo version will start. In this window, click “Cancel”, or simply interrupt the download that has started.
7. Play.
