Euro Truck Simulator 2 Scandinavia has become a real gift for all those who have already managed to catch up with hundreds of hours on the smooth autobahns and highways of Europe. Now we are sent to conquer its northern expanses, and this changes the entire simulator so much that fans get an almost completely new game.
History of creation
Czech developers from SCS Software have been making the same game for 15 years now. They specialize specifically in the delivery of goods by developers. Having accumulated enormous experience and applied advanced graphics technologies, they annually produce real masterpieces. Every year, more and more players from all over the world are discovering the amazing and previously unknown world of truck driving simulators. There is a large community of fans of these projects, and from time to time the most devoted fans release unofficial modifications. But additions released by the creators themselves are always the most long-awaited and anticipated. Initially, Euro Truck Simulator 2 offered its users roads exclusively from central Europe, then several countries from Eastern Europe, and now we get a unique chance to go to Scandinavia.
Geography and graphics
First of all, we present to your attention 27 new cities from three countries: Sweden, Norway and Denmark. But that’s not all: new types of trucks, types of cargo transported. The northern states are distinguished by a harsh climate, which means that you will find completely new landscapes, road junctions, and buildings located along harsh highways. The game was also simultaneously updated to a new version, and we can expect updated graphics with improved textures. Lighting, renderings, types of weather conditions – everything sparkled with new colors. Indescribable sunsets and sunrises will force drivers to stop on the highway to watch the real beauty.
Each of the Scandinavian cities is different from the other: they all have their own flavor, and you can easily distinguish, for example, Malmö from Copenhagen. The nature of the northern part of the continent is also diverse: majestic fjords and glaciers, dense coniferous forests, cliffs, gorges and mountains. How to launch:
1. Launch Steam, go to your or left profile.
2. Launch the game via binwin_x64eurotrucks2.exe or binwin_x86eurotrucks2.exe.
Connection:
ESC → Convoy → Connect to a friend’s server.
Server creation:
ESC → Convoy → Create convoy → Confirm → We are waiting for other players to connect.
When creating a profile, be sure to uncheck the “Use Steam profile” box. Otherwise, the game will not start again.
If there is a problem with the tablet, and therefore with launching the game, then rename the computer name so that the name contains only English letters.
