Somewhere the consequences are very insignificant (you saved the agent and raised you in alarm), and closer to the end they become radical, including the death of secondary characters. In principle, the levels have become more spacious and interesting, but two places in the game are special. The first is a task on Lubyanka, similar to games such as Hitman and Dishonored. They throw evidence, break computers, solve safe ciphers, hide soulless bodies in cabinets – and all this in order to somehow get distracted.

From a technical point of view, the Black Ops Cold War campaign is a little miracle: the developers managed to release one of the most technically impressive plot campaigns of 2020 on audio and animated records at home on eight platforms. The Cold War should be recommended first of all to those who are interested in the “stories” of the previous parts or want to appreciate the capabilities of the new 4K TV Raven console, which survived a magnificent adventure for two nights. Particularly good are the quiet espionage missions in the Soviet Union and Berlin. Yes, Black Ops is a little like a toy and a little less cinematic than Modern Warfare 2019, but I can’t say that a serious tone and ultrarealism played in last year’s play on the arm. On the contrary, Infinity Ward went too far, and the Cold War seems to be frivolous and extracts a lot of benefits from this.
